Aden Grove Residence
MFA were commissioned to prepare proposals for a cost effective ‘side return infill’ addition and mansard roof extension to provide improved family amenity to this typical late Victorian house in Hackney. A small existing rear addition enabled an unusual structural approach to the ground floor to provide glazing on 3 sides including an opening corner. The result is a rich and flexible relationship between the internal spaces and the garden.
